Sustainable from start to finish

At Eurobottle we are using the most environmentally friendly recourses to produce our products. We are not only considering the production of our bottles, but we are also thinking about the after-life of the sports and water bottles.

Sustainable from start to finish

Team Eurobottle

Our raw materials are made from sugarcane

What is biobased?

We are always looking for the most sustainable way to produce our products. We use a type of plastic made from sugarcane, which we call biobased plastic.

Traditionally, plastic is made from crude oil. Extracting crude oil and processing it into plastic takes a lot of energy. Producing it creates a lot of carbon dioxide (CO2) and can cause environmental pollution. This all contributes to global warming (greenhouse effect).

From sugarcane, of course, cane sugar is first produced for consumption. But bio-ethanol can be made from the residual product. From bioethanol you can then make plastic that has exactly the same composition and quality as plastic made from crude oil. Sustainable and excellent for recycling! And a big advantage: because sugar cane absorbs a lot of CO2 while growing, biobased plastic even has negative CO2 emissions! We make all our bottles from these plastics.

We want to contribute to a better environment, do you? Even you can choose a biobased bottle, you are already taking a step in the right direction!

Our story

Contribute to reducing single-use plastics

Reusable sports bottles and water bottles

Refillable sports bottles and water bottles contribute significantly to reducing single-use plastic waste. Their use results in people buying disposable bottles less often, which means savings on plastic packaging. In addition, the bottles end up in nature less often. A single refillable bottle can be used for quite some time without the need to buy a new plastic bottle each time.

This not only reduces the use of plastic, but also the production energy and emissions associated with producing and transporting single-use bottles. The use of refillable sports or water bottles therefore contributes to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way of hydrating.

Team Eurobottle

Collaborations for a circular future

Our responsibility after use

In collaboration with CIRCULR. and SaarSport we contribute to a circular economy with full responsibility for our products, especially with our reusable sports bottles.

We understand the importance of sustainability and have made it our mission to ensure that our bottles can be fully recycled at the end of their life.

This means that we not only offer high-quality, reusable products, but also ensure a responsible ‘after-life’. At Eurobottle we go further than just delivering great products; we are committed to a sustainable and environmentally friendly future for all of us.

Watch our journey to the origins of biobased plastics!

We believe that if you want to contribute to a better environment, you should choose a biobased bottle! The major advantage of biobased plastic over traditional plastic is that it produces significantly less carbon dioxide (CO2).
