As much as one of the three Dutch people are a member of a sports club. Every year we collectively consume millions of pounds of sportswear and materials. Did you know that a large proportion of these products eventually end up in the incinerator via residual waste? It’s time for us to change this!

Circularity is like a team sport
About ClubHub
ClubHub counteracts waste of potential raw materials. They do this by collecting, recycling and reusing old sports materials. Thus, they reduce CO2 emissions, reduce energy consumption and save millions of gallons of water. ClubHub is a Dutch collection initiative that will accelerate circularity within the sports world. They place eye-catching collection displays at clubs and sports facilities across the country!
Sports materials and clothing collected by ClubHub are reused or recycled into raw materials as sustainably as possible after collection. Sports brands can turn this into new, circular products. From pawns, vests or competition shirts to circular boarding!
Anyone can participate: Sports brands, manufacturers, retailers and the business community join as a Friend of ClubHub. Thanks to their contribution, associations can be affiliated. Associations with sustainable ambitions can register as circular clubs, for them participation is free. And any sporty Dutch citizen may turn in old sportswear and materials.
The common mission: a climate-neutral, 100% circular sports world!

Our bottles are made of biobased plastic made from sugarcane, a renewable resource that has a positive impact on the environment. During the growth of sugarcane, it absorbs CO2, so it has negative CO2 emissions. So with a reusable, biobased, water bottle, you are making a conscious and eco-friendly choice for a more sustainable future. But it doesn’t stop there.
To strengthen our commitment to sustainability, we also started looking at the after-life of our bottles. By joining ClubHub, we observe the full recycling process. As a result, we not only provide high-quality sports bottles, but also take responsibility for the entire life cycle of our bottles, minimizing our impact on people and the environment.
We believe in a future without unnecessary single-use plastics. In which all plastic types are sustainably produced, made from biobased material and, once then fully used, can be excellently recycled.
Support our mission
From sugar cane, to granules, to a sustainable water bottle with your own print on it. Which is also excellent for recycling.
We are taking a step further in making our products more sustainable every day! In every possible way, we use the most sustainable and socially responsible choices in production. One way we do this is by using bio-based plastics, a sheltered workshop for printing and assembling products and collaboration with various partners for recycling the water bottles into new sports materials.
At Eurobottle, we use the most environmentally friendly raw materials to produce our water bottles. While we are not yet allowed to use recycled materials in our water bottles, due to Europe’s food safety legislation, we choose a biobased plastic made from sugarcane.

See our first steps toward a circular sports world
Together with CIRCULR., SAAR. and Milieu Service Nederland, we have spent 2 months looking for used sports bottles. Through sports clubs, social media campaigns and our own network, we have collected nearly 3,000 used bottles. This number had to be achieved in order to get enough material for a serious test.
